Gatublomster Vase
A vase consisting of a paving stone and an aluminium disc, shaped like a flower. With its shapes and materials, the vase comments on the aesthetic and symbolic contrasts between soft and hard.
The vase is inspired by the flower-power movement of the sixties, where protesters, using the flower as a symbol, wanted to soften and pacify the harsh and cold world situation.
Designed by August Bällgren and Love Persson in Stockholm, Sweden.
